Melt!-Festival – First Stop

We started at the Melt!-Festival. It was really cool, except the weather was kind of bad on friday which is why we missed Trentemoller and Moderat. That was really sad as these were 2 of the acts we wanted to see most.

On the other hand we met some really nice people there and the acts we saw were really good. Digitalism was playing live and it was absolutely awesome. I kind of lost track of all the bands and DJs we saw, but Aphex Twin, The Whitest Boy Alive, Ellen Allien, Paul Kalkbrenner where really cool ;-)

There are no photos from the festival itself as I couldn’t take my camera on the festival but only from the life on the campsite.

Prague – Second stop

The next station on our trip was Prague, where we arrived in the middle of the night, without a GPS or any idea how to find our hostel. After driving through the city without much of an idea we finally found our The Czech Inn Design Hostel and it was really stunning. We explored the city the next days visiting some of the typical spots like the Carls Bridge and the Rajin but stayed there just as long as we had too. Wandering around the “real” Prague and the outer circles was much more interesting and the Spy-City Map was really helpful.

Weidental / Brebu Nou – Third stop

A little exhausted after some days of wandering around we drove off to Romania. We visited some of my relatives and then went to our house in the mountains where we stayed for a week. It was really relaxing with not much more to do than shooting some photos, cooking and wandering around.

Vienna – Fourth stop

Our final stop was Vienna were we also stayed in a famous hostel, the Hostel Ruthensteiner. Again we didn’t visit the first district, but explored mainly the 5th, 6th and 7th as they were much more interesting and alternative with a lot of small shops and loads of Street-Art everywhere.
